SHARE THE JOY 2025 PLEASANT HILLS, MANDALUYONG CITY

Last December 23, 2025, ANRU MPC visited Brgy. Pleasant Hills, Mandaluyong City, following a recent fire incident that left several families homeless and caused significant damage to the community. Through collective effort, ANRU family shared and donated essential items to those families in need, providing them comfort and making a meaningful difference during this difficult time.

Strengthening trust through awareness and responsibility.

Last December 11, 2025, ANRU MPC successfully conducted a Data Privacy Orientation to reinforce its commitment to protecting personal information and upholding the principles of the Data Privacy Act of 2012. The session aimed to deepen members' understanding of data privacy rights, responsibilities, and best practices in handling sensitive and confidential information. Through this orientation, participants were reminded that data protection is a shared responsibility—one that requires vigilance, accountability, and ethical stewardship at all levels of the cooperative. By fostering a culture of awareness and compliance, ANRU MPC continues to safeguard the trust of its members, partners, and stakeholders. By recent earthquakes and strong typhoons, countless families have lost their homes and loved ones. As a one community, ANRU MPC went to Philippine Red Cross National Headquarters in Mandaluyong City bringing essential items that can bring comfort and support to these resilient families. Through this initiative, the cooperative fulfilled its true purpose by bringing immediate hope, assurance, and comfort to families affected by the disaster in simple ways.

Through this, the cooperative will be able to empower and promote sustainable growth, gender equality, and social justice for all, while continuing to provide the highest quality of services to the community

Exclusive Interview with the Chairman

Mr. Arnel B. Racadio, Chairman and CEO of ANRU MPC, was invited to DWIZ 882, a radio station known for broadcasting news and talk programs. During his interview, he shared his insights on "Building Inclusive Economies and Empowering the Underprivileged," which emphasized creating job opportunities for thousands of marginalized/underprivileged individuals who are struggling to find stable employment in the Philippines. He enlightened the viewers and listeners by sharing how he was inspired to establish a worker-owned cooperative in the country, which has now been operating for two decades. He elaborated an impactful initiative aimed at fulfilling the true purpose of a cooperative and importance of valuing people, recognizing them as vital assets and essential parts of any organization. With this, Mr. Arnel B. Racadio and ANRU MPC aim not just to have passive members, but to cultivate active members who can significantly contribute to the development and progress of the cooperative, thereby improving the socio-economic well-being of all the members and the community at the same time.

ANRU MPC Participates in the 2025 ECCP Future of Work Forum

ANRU successfully took part in the 2025 Future of Work Forum organized by the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) on September 4, 2025, with the theme “People First: Strengthening the Workforce for a Future-Ready Economy". The forum brought together industry leaders and workforce experts who actively participated and contributed to the discussions, highlighting vital platforms for exploring innovative approaches to human capital development and national growth, especially amid rapid digital transformation and the evolving dynamics of the global workforce. These insights help the Cooperative strengthen its workforce empowerment strategies, enabling its members to remain competitive and future‑ready in a fast‑changing economic landscape.

ANRU MPC Cares: Helping Hand to Members Affected by Typhoon Carina

On July 24, 2025, Super Typhoon Carina made landfall in the Philippines, bringing widespread devastation across several areas. One of the area’s most severely affected by flooding in Metro Manila is Marikina, which experienced significant disruption of their houses and livelihood. In response, as part of cooperative commitment, ANRU MPC promptly reached out to support our members by successfully distributing essential relief items, including canned goods, water, noodles and other basic necessities they needed. This kind of act reflects our cooperative’s dedication to uplifting its members during times of crisis, as well as to building a resilient and compassionate community that supports one another in different situations in life.

ANRU MPC Joins Job Fair at Mindanao State University (MSU)

On June 26, 2025, ANRU Multi-Purpose Cooperative proudly participated in the Job Fair held at the Mindanao State University (MSU) Maigo Gymnasium, Zamboanga del Sur. The event, organized to connect job seekers with prospective employers, provided a valuable platform for the cooperative to reach out to fresh talents and aspiring professionals within the region.

The job fair was attracted a various group of applicants, including graduating students and experienced job seekers, enthusiastic to explore meaningful and stable employment within a values-driven organization. ANRU MPC’s participation in the event reflects the cooperative’s purpose of “provide economic opportunities to the community where it operates” and the pursuit of excellence through people empowerment. As part of its 22nd anniversary month-long celebration, ANRU Multi-Purpose Cooperative (ANRU MPC) successfully held its annual Townhall Meeting on April 7, 2025, uniting members across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao—both in person and virtually. This milestone event served as a dynamic platform for strengthening internal engagement, sharing key organizational updates, and aligning the entire cooperative on strategic priorities moving forward. It was not just a time to inform, but also a moment of reflection, celebration, and collective inspiration. The program opened with a heartfelt message from Mr. Ernani T. Draculan, Senior Vice President and Chief Operations Officer, who set the tone by recalling the cooperative’s early days—marked by perseverance, teamwork, and an unwavering belief in its mission. Last March 31, 2025, we celebrated Women’s Month by honoring the incredible women in our lives who inspire us every day with their courage, wisdom, and unwavering spirit. As a simple gesture of appreciation, ANRU MPC customized and distributed cards to all the women staff in the organization, recognizing their dedication and the tremendous effort they contribute to the success of our organization. We also invited female leaders across offices to do a talk to share insights about their inspiring career-life journeys. In this talk show, different questions were prepared, valuable tips were shared, and heartfelt messages were delivered to all the staff present. Their stories highlighted how they rose from humble beginnings to achieve their current success and how they persevered through the many challenges encountered along the way. But to sum it up, women have their own power and charm, which have played a significant role in advancing gender equality and breaking long-held stigmas and stereotypes in all aspects. #WEcanbeEquAll

Share Love, Laughter, and Family—Valentine’s at ANRU MPC

ANRU Multi-Purpose Cooperative wouldn’t want to miss this celebration, as it’s a wonderful opportunity to reinforce a positive workplace culture and express appreciation to our loved ones. As part of the event, we featured a Freedom Wall where everyone could write a Pick-up Line or a heartfelt Hugot about life, and to make things even more fun, we introduced a Valentine’s Palette Code that represented each person’s current love status whether they’re in a relationship or happily enjoying their own company. But more than all these activities, Valentine’s Day at ANRU MPC is extra special because it brings out the genuine love shared among the staff. It highlights how we treat each other as family and friends, always ready to lend a shoulder during difficult times and be a trusted companion at the same time.

Share The Joy Program: Sharing Cooperative’s Blessing for a Meaningful Cause

Before the year ends, the cooperative aims to make the celebration meaningful for everyone while also giving back to the community where we operate. On December 12, 2024, ANRU MPC held its Year-End Party together with staff and executives. As part of our Community Development Activity, we Shared the Joy with our selected and invited foundation named Jesus Loves the Little Children Foundation, composed of 10 children who showcased their talents through a Christmas performance that brought smiles and laughter to everyone. By means of this effort, we were able to share our blessings for a meaningful cause and reflect the true spirit of Christmas by spreading love and generosity to all.

Cheers to new beginnings! - ANRU MPC Luzon Unveils its New Logo at a Year-End Bash!

ANRU MPC’s staff and executives in Luzon gathered on December 12, 2024, at Greenfield District, Mandaluyong. An event that everyone had been looking forward to, celebrating another incredible year of hard work and milestones. Everyone dressed in their best outfits, with smiles on their faces and sparkling like diamonds throughout the night. The celebration featured a series of events, including performances prepared by both staff and executives who showcased their best talents. Lucky attendees also won exciting raffle prizes and received well-deserved recognition for their outstanding passion and dedication, which has contributed significantly to the organization’s success over the years. Most notably, the evening marked the highly anticipated unveiling of the new ANRU MPC logo, along with its new Vision and Purpose, led by the Chairman of the cooperative. On January 31, 2025, ANRU Multi-Purpose Cooperative (ANRU MPC) proudly participated in the historic launch of the International Year of the Cooperatives (IYC) at Liwasang Aurora, Quezon Memorial Circle, Quezon City. This landmark event brought together more than 200 cooperatives, all united under the theme "Cooperatives Build a Better World."

The event marked a significant milestone in strengthening the cooperative movement, highlighting the crucial role of cooperatives in promoting economic sustainability, social development, and inclusive growth. Leaders, policymakers, and cooperative members gathered to celebrate the sector’s achievements and reaffirm their commitment to advancing cooperative-driven solutions for a more resilient future.

Looking back on July 2024’s Pre-Membership Education Seminar (PMES) which were conducted in some parts of Visayas and Mindanao in partnership with one of the retail companies in VisMin.

The (PMES) is a primary step for workers who have considered joining a cooperative. It is a program designed to provide new members with information about how ANRU operates and their benefits as member-workers.

With this, ANRU MPC is able to improve the socio-economic well-being of the members and is able to provide economic opportunities to the community where the coop operates.

Human Capital Committee Meeting with Dole Director for Bureau of Working Conditions

On October 9, 2024, ANRU MPC’s Chairman and CEO Mr. Arnel B. Racadio, and AVP for Compliance, Ms. Jenifer Pebres participated on a strategic meeting led by European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) with the Department of Labor and Employment’s (DOLE) Bureau of Working Conditions, represented by its Director, Atty. Alvin B. Curada in Taguig City.

The focal point of the discussion was the ongoing review of contractual arrangements and compliance under the DOLE Department Orders No. 174 and 150. These regulations aim to balance the rights and responsibilities of employers and employees, particularly in relation to labor-only contracting, outsourcing, and permissible contracting practices.

The dialogue explored areas for potential collaboration between ECCP and DOLE to further enhance regulatory awareness, promote fair labor standards, and support the development of human capital within the business community.

The participation of ANRU MPC executives underscores the cooperative’s commitment to remaining informed about the latest labor laws to ensure compliance and effective governance. By engaging with DOLE and other industry stakeholders, ANRU MPC aims to foster a more sustainable and equitable workplace for its member-workers.

ANRU MPC holds joint learning session with PhilHealth

Another learning session was conducted this April 2021 in partnership with PhilHealth. This 2-hour learning session tackled on the country’s universal health care, programs and benefits which was presented by a Social Insurance Officer III from PhilHealth office. This webinar discussed on the different benefits of all members and its importance for an individual who has a health concern. This was attended by staff across ANRU MPC Offices in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. An open forum was also conducted at the end of the speaker’s presentation to give opportunity for everyone to ask their clarification on its processes. This portion enabled not just to answer best practices in the office but as well as to answer their family member’s inquiry who has health conditions.

ANRU MPC holds "SSS Programs and Services: Responding to the Times thru ExpreSSS” webinar

Last March 2021, ANRU MPC kick off with a learning session on “SSS Programs and Services: Responding to the Times thru ExpreSSS”. This was in partnership with SSS which primarily tackled on the recent development in SSS digital services, latest policies and programs in this time of pandemic. This learning session also pave the way for the staff to be reminded on the various SSS benefits and loan programs of all members. A Q&A portion was also allotted for everyone to directly ask their inquiries to the resource speaker. This is vital especially for all area supervisors and benefits staff to be more updated and exquisitely perform their tasks.

ANRU MPC Share the Joy Program

ANRU MPC has been conducting Share the Joy Program for a number of years already by giving joy to the kids during the yuletide season. This 2020, it was different since Luzon was hit by consecutive super typhoons causing flood and destruction to properties. The cooperative extended its support along with the staff’s donation across ANRU MPC offices to provide aid for those greatly affected. The pooled amount was provided to the affected staff and their families particularly in Bicol, Isabela, Rizal and Marikina hoping that they will be back on their feet in time and have a meaningful holiday.

ANRU MPC holds Safety Health Environment Webinar

A series of webinars on Safety, Health and Environment were conducted from August to November of 2020. This is geared towards maintaining a safe and healthy workplace and that workers practice the right protocols to ensure they are free from possible accidents or injuries. This will further increase workers efficiency and productivity. Through this initiative a total of 132 staff were certified as Safety Officers 1 across all ANRU MPC offices (Metro Manila, Laguna, Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, General Santos and Davao). This shows that safety is everybody’s responsibility.

ANRU MPC Cares Program provides wheelchairs for staff’s immediate families

Through ANRU MPC Cares Program, the cooperative awarded wheelchairs to the staff’s immediate family last November 2020. This program endeavors to give ANRU MPC staff the support and assistance especially who are in need which is also being extended to their families.

ANRU MPC donates to Project Pearl Livelihood Program

As ANRU MPC lives up to its mission to provide economic opportunities to the community, the cooperative donated hundreds of new clothes to be used for the livelihood programs of Project Pearl. This was made possible last October 2020 in Novaliches, Quezon City where the chosen organization and the families it serves was pleased to receive the items for their future projects.

Another webinar on financial literacy was participated by staff across ANRU MPC offices last August 2020. This tackled the importance of financial planning even when you are a millennial or rearing a family. Different investment options were discussed so that the future is secured whether its for owning a property or enjoying retirement. This was done in partnership with one of the leading insurance firms in the country.

ANRU MPC shifts classroom training online through webinar series

Amidst the pandemic, ANRU MPC started the transition of classroom training to a webinar format to ensure that members continue to develop their competencies, attitude and skills in the new normal. The webinars are of different topics and one of which promotes mental health entitled Managing Stress and Staying Optimistic in the Pandemic. This was conducted to raise awareness on how to cope with stress and how to handle all the challenges we might encounter.

ANRU MPCholds First Aid Training Session

Last March 2020, a First Aid Training Session was conducted to equip staff and deployed members the necessary information and skills that is needed during emergency situations. As the cooperative commitment to its business partners in further developing competencies of workers, this was also followed by Assisting Disabled and Elderly Passengers who Travel Training (ADEPT). This is to ensure that they are prepared to always give an outstanding service especially to the passengers in need.

The cooperative had its Staff Appreciation Day last February 2020 wherein all staff were recognized during Valentine’s Day. They received a sweet-filled cookie in heart shape packaging with a sweet letter on it to show how much they are appreciated. These were all done across ANRU MPC offices nationwide.

ANRU MPC launches donation drive for Taal victims

Last January 2020 when the Taal Volcano erupted, the cooperative provided relief responses to its members who were directly and greatly affected. Essential items were immediately provided to them and their family to make sure that they have enough supply. A donation drive was also launched and various volunteer activities were initiated. Some of the collected goods and clothing were distributed in various communities in need.
